At 7pm this evening, I closed the door to the corporate office where I have spent the bulk of my marketing career, and officially opened Fit2Function!
I didn’t set out to start my own fitness business when I began working with a personal trainer about four years ago. But I loved the process. And more importantly, I was amazed by how well I felt. I lost about 15 pounds and gained strength, mobility, range of motion, endurance and CONFIDENCE! I felt like I had discovered the fountain of youth, and wanted to share it with others.
So the plan evolved. Training. Studying. Certifications. Renovating an old barn. And many other details woven in between. All the while, keeping one foot in corporate marketing and one in fitness. Tonight I made the leap, and am now committed full-time to growing Fit2Function and working with as many individuals and groups as possible.
My goal is to help each client cut through the overwhelming clutter of diet crazes and fitness fads and, instead, develop a common sense approach to living a long, actively engaged life. And it starts right now!
